Engagement

I checked all the preparation once again . Cause my dear sister would get upset if she finds any mistake or something missing and I don't want to ruin her mood .

I went back to my room and got ready in some time and then went to check upon Roohi  . She was settled in front of mirror looking so gorgeous in pink lahenga. Her face was glowing with happiness.

How am I  looking  ? Rooh asked enthusiastically. 
Umm... good. I replied
Huh ,  just good . you know it took me 2 hours to get ready and here you didn't even complimented me nicely . She said while making faces .

Thank you  masi ma . You're the one who truly loves me and she is just jealous of me . She said to  mom .
Stop your bantering, roohi let's go everyone is waiting for you.  Mom told her .

We left the room  and went downstairs where everyone was presented.
Roohi and sidharth were on stage .engagement ceremony got started soon .

But there was something else that caught up my mind was Aditya singhaniya . I can feel his gaze on me . His constant stare ,the way he was looking at me was doing something to me.  I just want to escape from here, from him .

My phone rang suddenly catching up my attention it was pranav . He called me outside in garden. Should I thanks to him for giving me a reason to escape from here ...  No way , I'm not gonna do this.
I excused myself from there and marched towards the exit but the next moment got collided into someone , who is none other than him .

My heart was throbbing  against my chest fast enough that I can hear my heartbeats clearly.
Those alluring honey brown orbs filled with amusement and that charming small smile playing on his lips can fascinate anyone . God has created him with great care .

Huh ?? I asked in confusion.
Done admiring me . He said with slight smirk ,
agh.. I just want to puch him on his face but he is a guest right now . So leave it Aru . I thought to myself

I ignored him and went out where my so called best friend is waiting for me .
Christie is here . Pranav  informed

I think we should go to office she must be waiting for us . Pranav  suggested .
Hmm .
We reached my  office in half an hour . I informed bhai about it so no one will get tensed .
Good evening boss . Christie greeted me .
I nodded . And got settled on my chair . they sat on the chairs in front of me

Boss this file contains each and every information regarding malhotra's illegal business . She informed me while passing a file .

Boss there is one more important thing . Nishant Malhotra wants that jaipur site. He wants that site at any cost  so he is gonna be present in the meeting there. And I'm damn sure he is planning something against us . She informed .
You don't have to worry regarding this  I'll handle it .
I said getting up from my chair .
She left the cabin .

So what are you gonna do now ? He asked me.

Pahle ghar Chale.  I'm so tired . I picked up the file from table and left for my home ofc he dropped me first as I didn't bring my car then left towards his .

Where were you bache ? I heard my dad's voice just after entering inside home .

Dad  you scared me  . I said while facing him

You left the function in halfway . Do you know how much tensed I was . He said complaining.

Papa I informed Kunal . I'm sure he forgot to tell you .

Did you had your dinner.  He asked

Ha papa I had and you shouldn't have stay awake till now , its quite late . You should take care of yourself .

Ha , I know how to take care of myself .now go and sleep . He said going towards his room.

I also went to my room . After spending a good amount of time on taking shower . I did my skincare and tied my hairs in a braid . And then drifted to sleep.

NEXT MORNING

I am getting ready for office . It would not look good if I get late being the boss .

After finishing my breakfast  I took my car and leave to office .

I was driving my phone was ringing continuously from last few minutes

I reached my office . My assistant informed me that I have a meeting to attend in few minutes .

In meeting room everyone was present.  All of them stood on their place to greet me

One of the employee started the presentation regarding the project .

Meeting got ended soon . I have a lot of work to bind up as in 2 days all of us are leaving for jaipur for Roohi and sidharth's marriage.  And the another reason to go there is the meeting that to be held in a week .
